St Edmunds Society acknowledges that work experience is key to the path of a successful career.
What use are qualifications if a student has not seen first-hand the kind of work they will be progressing to and had discussions with valuable professionals in that workforce?
Here at St-Eds we offer Post-16 students taking our courses the chance at work experience with many local businesses. We have a database of enthusiastic, motivated young people who are looking for the opportunity to showcase their abilities.
We will need you to support our learners to:
- Build up their employability skills
- Develop their social skills
- Learn about your industry
- Be an additional member of your team
In return, you may identify a young person that you feel able to offer employment, a traineeship or an apprenticeship to. If this is not possible, our young people will appreciate the experience you are able to offer and a reference in order to help support them to move forward with their career.
You will be helping the workforce of tomorrow!
If you feel able to help, please contact Amanda Bowie on 01603 622035 who can offer you more details.
