Welcome to St Edmunds Society

B&CE Charitable Trust National Mowlem Award Winner 2017

This is a very exciting time for St-Eds Training Centre and our students. Our philosophy is to deliver an employer led curriculum, truly enabling our students both to believe in themselves and to become the highly skilled workforce of tomorrow.

We provide them with the skills necessary to meet the real requirements of employers, applying the theory of the classroom to the real world ensuring students gain insight and access to real employers and projects.

Our students have been nominated and acclaimed Youth Build UK, Young Builder of the Year and we are an established Centre of Excellence too. And last October we received a further commendation.

What We Do

At St-Eds, we do things a little differently. We operate an exciting and diverse range of vocational training courses aimed at young people who may have felt challenged or out of place in a mainstream educational environment.

What Makes Us Different

What makes St-Eds different?

We take learning out of the classroom, making it more relevant to real life and the world of work. We have outstanding employer links with multi-national sponsor Taylor Wimpey, plus excellent support from many local employer partners, such as Norse, Lafarge Tarmac, Persimmon and JMC. Our curriculum is built to deliver the real world skills that employers demand from their next generation of employees.
